Hi, I’m Chantell Pfitzer, the founder of The Garage Edit.
My entrepreneurial journey started early, from selling candy out of my dad’s briefcase in middle school to running a coffee subscription service out of the teacher’s lounge in high school. These small ventures sparked a passion for finding creative ways to deliver value. Over time, that drive evolved into a career in high-level estate and project management, where I spent more than a decade managing the staff, homes, and lives of some of the wealthiest individuals in the world. This experience sharpened my ability to deliver exceptional results with precision, care, and attention to detail.
Now, as the founder of The Garage Edit, I bring that expertise to transforming garages into luxurious, statement-making spaces. From bespoke showrooms to private wellness retreats or tailored spaces for your passions, my team and I specialize in creating garages that are as beautiful as they are functional.

Where are you located?We are based in Texas and serve Dallas, Fort Worth, North Texas, Austin, and Houston. We also take on projects across the state and out of state. As demand grows, we are actively expanding into new regions, so don’t hesitate to reach out regardless of location.

How much does it cost?Our pricing varies significantly between residential and commercial projects. However, most residential projects typically start at $20,000, while commercial projects usually require a minimum budget of $50,000. These are baseline estimates, and final costs depend on the scope, materials, and level of customization involved.

Do you provide 3D renderings or design previews?Yes, we do! Our 3D renderings and design previews help you visualize the transformation before the work begins.

Do I need to be involved during the project?We’ll need your initial input and sign-off on the design, but after that, your level of involvement is entirely up to you. You can be as hands-on or hands-off as you’d like.

Do you offer financing or payment plans?While we don’t offer financing or payment plans, we require a deposit to begin the project, with the remaining balance due upon completion.

Do you charge a consultation fee?No, we do not charge a consultation fee. However, we may sometimes charge a discovery fee for detailed renders, engineering surveys, or other specific requirements. This will always be clearly communicated and confirmed with you beforehand.

Are you a design firm or build out company?We are a design-centric build-out company, also known as a design-build firm. This means design is an essential and required part of our process to bring your space to life. Unlike a traditional design firm, we do not offer standalone design services—we handle both the design and build-out as a seamless, integrated process.

Can I hire you just for design without the build-out?No, we do not offer à la carte design services. Our design and build-out process is fully integrated, meaning our designs are proprietary and intended to be executed by our team. Unlike traditional design firms, we don’t provide standalone design services—this allows us to offer some of the most competitive rates for high-caliber design in the industry.
